No Pressure Soft Wash Roof Cleaning

What is streaking on your roof?
Have you noticed those black streaks on your roof? Though often attributed to an accumulation of dirt, defective shingles, mold, or mildew; the most common culprit is actually a blue-green algae known as Gloeocapsa Magma that is spread by airborne spores.

We may not always pronounce it right, but we can get it off your roof!  This algae is a living organism that is shortening the lifespan of your roof and raising the ambient temperature in your attic.  This will result in higher cooling bills.

Can Clean Curb Appeal make my roof beautiful again?

Important Steps for Roof Cleaning

Preparation

Each job site is different, and therefore the steps used to prepare the site for roof cleaning are flexible with the given situation. Gutters are cleared of debris and downspouts are cleared. Vegetation is protected either by a shield or by constant watering. Downspouts are bagged where necessary.

1
Plant Protection

Roof cleaning is a two man job. One of the crew is applying the cleaning agent while the other team member is watching over the vegetation on the ground.

2
Maintenance

When we finish the job the roof will be clean - the same day! The results are almost instant. However, the cleaning agent will continue to penetrate the shingles to ensure no surviving algae. Therefore, we recommend initiating a regular watering of plants for a few days following the service.
